Thanksgiving is coming soon and we want to help you make a delicious meal for your family!
Our meal kits are filled with everything you need to have a great Thanksgiving meal! They have the veggies, the fruit, the decorations, the pie, and the seasonings! Our boxes haven't changed this year, but we are adding more items to our add ons! You can now choose to add more stuffing mix, chicken, bread and our very own donuts to your box! Our protein options this year are a fresh turkey raised right here in Zeeland, a frozen chicken raised right here on the farm or a fresh ham from Sanders Meats. We are stocking their whole & 1/2 original hams as well as a picnic ham.
Bread from the beard and the gal was a big hit last year, so we're bringing it back and adding lots more options to choose from! We have buttermilk potato rolls, buttermilk biscuits, cheddar sea biscuits, white cheddar boules, jalapeno cheddar boules, yukon sourdoughs, sourdough baguettes, Sourdough cinnamon rolls, frozen dutch pigs in a blanket, biscuits and gravy, and holiday cheese balls. These will be great to enjoy all weekend! I'm a japapeno cheese girlie so I'll be getting one of those for myself!
We also have Muffins from Sleepless Pies for preorder. There are 4 packs of pumpkin spice streusel muffins and apple streusel muffins. The pictures are DROOL worthy.
Here's the details about the boxes:
We have 3 box sizes. Small serves 4-6 guests, Medium serves 10-12 guests, Large serves 12-15 guests. We'll be taking orders until November 17. Order your box before November 1 and you'll automatically get 5% off! Order pickup will be November 24 & 25 from 10am - 5pm at our farm. At pickup, there will be a variety of seasonal pies to choose from (included with your box). The pies will be first come first serve, so if you're picky, plan on coming early! We'll also have a free donut for the person picking up their box as well as other deals in the Country Market.

Market Card Holders / CSA members: Use your card at checkout on our online store by entering your card number in the gift card section.
We will have all of our other veggies, fruit, meat, seasonings, soda and everything else you love at the Country Market during pickup. Depending on what the weather does between now and then, we will have spinach, kale, leeks, more fall squash, all of our potatoes, brussel sprouts, carrots, onions and whatever else we have in season! If you'd like to preorder your produce so it's ready when you come, that's an option on our online store as well!
Supporting local businesses: As a small business ourselves, we're always trying to support other small businesses. The pies are made by the Ottawa County Tech Center students, the rub is made by a friend of ours, cranberries are provided from Rainbow Farm (Fulton Street Farmers market vendor) and the stuffing mixes are from the great bread company (vendor at several of our markets). Apples are provided from a farm in Grant (also a vendor at Fulton Street).
Thanksgiving in a box pickup will be at our Country Market on Monday & Tuesday, November 24 & 25. We won't be bringing these boxes to market.

Add ons available: Turkeys, ham & bread
Turkeys were raised right here in West Michigan by another local farm and will be processed the weekend before pickup. No need to worry about thaw time, this delicious turkey will be fresh and ready to cook! Meat is not included in the box, it will need to be purchased separately. The turkeys are right around 20lbs. Our hams will be fresh as well. They are going to be 12-14lbs for the 1/2 original and 10-12lbs for the picnic.

Even if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, this is a great way to stock up on produce for the winter. Many of these veggies will last a while if stored properly and they're priced at a discount!
Did we mention the boxes come with table decorations? Included in each box is a pie pumpkin and a sharpie. Take time to write out what you're thankful for. After you're done admiring it, chop it up and make something for dessert!
